Android & iPhone Clients for SoftEther That Support HTTPS
The SoftEther HTTPS cuts through firewalls like a hot knife through butter. Do an Android & iPhone clients exist that use HTTPS? If not, is anyone developing them? These cell phone clients would be extremely useful.

"SSTP Connect", "Open SSTP Client" and a newcomer, semi-commercial "ObfusGated VPN".

Re: Android & iPhone Clients for SoftEther That Support HTTPS
The firewall I'm trying to penetrate will pass only HTTP and HTTPS on the standard TCP ports 80 and 443, respectively. I tried using an SSTP client on a cell phone but the firewall blocked it.
It appears that the only solution is for someone to develop a cell phone app that uses HTTPS to communicate with SoftEther. This project would be wonderful for a grad student.

The solution is already there, mpfrench wrote: ↑Thu Mar 05, 2026 12:54 amThe firewall I'm trying to penetrate will pass only HTTP and HTTPS on the standard TCP ports 80 and 443, respectively. I tried using an SSTP client on a cell phone but the firewall blocked it.

and advanced developers are even trying to implement more advanced version of them like sharing VPN over mobile hotspot & hosting a SoftEther VPN server in mobile eSIM

Re: Android & iPhone Clients for SoftEther That Support HTTPS
I tried your recommended SSTP clients. While the SSTP system uses TCP port 443, it apparently does not use the HTTPS protocol since the firewall I'm trying to penetrate refuses to let SSTP pass through. The Windows SoftEther client when set to use HTTPs does penetrate the firewall.
Again, someone needs to develop a SoftEther client for cell phones that uses the HTTPS protocol to solve this problem.
