hello, I'm new to this forum. Not a newbi on these aspects.
After working in IT for over twenty years I now find time to do my own projects. Softether VPN looks very interesting to me, but ... I'm not a active user of Windows-stuff anymore. My interests are now in SOHO (Small Office and HOme) situtions. Including the use of the newest type of hardware.
My first interest now is to build a Remote Access to LAN situation with Softether. In the paper it is stated:
" It is recommended to set up VPN Server on a computer which has two network adapters where one is connected to the corporate network and another is connected to global Internet segment. "
Therefor I have the following questions:
- did somebody already make use of a "barebone board with dual ethernet ports"?
- if yes, what make or brand?
- minimum specs?
- what OS (preferably one of the Linux distros) I'm using CentOS 7 now.
Thanks in advance for a reply.

Re: Hello and a question
With such a big experience like you have, I would start my business related to IT and will try to become Tony Stark in real life:)
