I have server version 4.08.9449-4~trusty installed on ubuntu 14.04 from the Darik Horne repo. It uses securenat and dhcp.
One user with a dual boot win 8 and win 10 can connect from either windows version using client v 9570 (7/26). Another with only win 10 installed can connect but it doesn't give an IP address, using the same v 9570.
I'm wondering if the difference is in the boot files for win 10.
Is it also necessary to update the server to 9570 to be compatible? I am reluctant to do this since my server is controlled by puppet and I want to use the repo package install.

You should keep updating your softwares although it may not be the cause.

Latest 9578 build seems to be working fine on my Windoze 10 machines.
