Hi,
Ive got a Soft Ether server setup and appears to be running.
I want all traffic to be routed via the VPN, and I have this working with the virtual NAT, but only for about 30-60 after connecting and then I can't get anything over the connection.
I'm thinking maybe its because the server has 6 NICs, 5 are in use.
Can I force Soft Ether to bind just to 1 NIC ? We are currently using Open VPN and we are able to bind it to just the specific NIC.
thx !

Re: Bind to a single NIC
You may use a tap device and do routing and NAT with your system, then you can decide how the routing works.

Re: Bind to a single NIC
Thanks for the reply.
So I have eth0-5 on the server side. (only 1 NIC clientside)
I need Soft Ether to bind to eth3 on the server side, as eth3 has internet access.
Is not possible to do directly with the Soft Ether config ?
Regards
Edit - btw running Centos 6.6 Server side (not windows).

Softether VPN Server does not provide many settings, features are also limited.

Re: Bind to a single NIC
Guess I could try and make a virtual server with just 1 nic for Soft ether, just more overhead and network performance slows between the 2 servers compared too all on one.
thx.

Re: Bind to a single NIC
Please try to disable kernel mode SecureNAT on Virtual Hub Extended Option.
