With Citrix Xenserver, you install directly to the hardware, is there a version which you do the same, ie Linux underneath with Softether server sitting on the top?
Does this make Sense?
BTW - I'm new to this, my friend introduced me to it and I'm taken on it straight away.

hi Nemesiz
So it goes on top of a host operating system then, so the server version is just the server version, meaning it doesn't include an optimised OS(Linux preferred)?
Sorry if it sounds a bit confusing, as I know what I mean but can't think of the term.
Like a standalone VPN appliance? if that's the term

Yes SoftEther is a standalone software and you can use it on your own optimized OS.
