Protocol error occurred, blocked ports ?
Hi,
I have a message in SoftEther VPN Server: "Protocol error occurred" in "Global IPv4 Address"
How to fix it ?
If i connect to another VPN, working fine. (WTF)
I use DMZ on my local IP address. (All ports opened)
Reserved Ports via other servers (80,27000-27020,6969,3306)
Reserved porta to VPN server : 443,992,1194,5555 (default ports)
When my VPN server be visible in vpngate.net ?

Something may block the connection to DDNS registration server.
By the way, please don't open the DDNS key to a third party.
Someone can mimic your VPN server.

I'm having the same issue. Dedicated the 4 default ports. UPnP enabled (VPNGate module uses this).
IPv6 not available. IPv4 in use.
Randomly I can see my external IP address appear and disappear. However I can not customize the DDNS Hostname as it returns an error.

Re: Protocol error occurred, blocked ports ?
Connect to VPN via SoftEther VPN Client, Open VPN, L2TP and MS-SSTP working fine,
Ports 443,1194,5555 and more is opened. DMZ is enabled.
My IP is reachable from the Inetrnet.
If i delete server config and create new, All works fine i can see my external IP in Global IPv4, and i can change DDNS.
Now, if i enabled "VPN Gate Relay Service", Global IPv4 has an error occured (see - Protocol error occured).
TCP/IP is used to connect to the DDNS, on port ?

Re: Protocol error occurred, blocked ports ?
For me.. I have fix:
In router disable UPnP (Universal Plug and Play), restart router and PC.
NOW! works perfectly! no problem with "Protocol Error Occured" in Global IPv4 Address ! :D
