DDNS Not Functioning

Post by Zooti » Tue Jan 14, 2025 11:43 pm

I have been using Softether for a couple of years with no issues. Recently the ISP provider did an updfate and removed the static IP they had been proving free. My client wont connect to the server now. I have read that DDNS function is native to softether but i cant work out why the client can not now connect. a client at another location still connects with no issue, it is only a problem at the site that had the ISP change. Can any suggestions me made as to what i am doing wrong?

The ISP update may have changed more than only static IP availability. Put aside DDNS for now and test it out with current IP address. Do not rely on NAT-T viewtopic.php?f=7&t=69470

I have been trying everything i can to correct, including with current IP ( i am no expert though). i have 3 clients at 2 locations remote to server. the location where the ISP didnt update still works fine (1 client), all using the same port setup as the other site.
