PUSH_Reply Ping 3 / Restart 10 forces OpenVPN client to close connection

Hello,

I am currently looking at Softether VPN as an alternative for OpenVPN.

While testing with the OpenVPN client, I noticed that with the basic user configuration file created by the server, the following parameter shows up in the OpenVPN client log while connecting to Softether server:

Received control message: 'PUSH_REPLY,ping 3,ping-restart 10,ifconfig 192.168.30.13 192.168.30.14,route

Is it possible to change this parameter? The Softether server is not sending any pings, therefore the OpenVPN client interrupts the connection even after successfully getting IP with DHCP and successful data transfer.

You can re-compile it or try to patch up the binary to change this parameter but my OpenVPN client does NOT close a connection to SE server in OpenVPN mode even when idle for long time.
