Which LAN adapter to chose for local bridge?

Post by s_bartnicki » Sun Aug 13, 2023 3:12 am

I am new to SoftEther and have a maybe naive question, but the documentation is not very clear to me. I am setting up a remote access VPN server at my office for remote work. Our office's internet access is through a typical consumer grade gateway, behind a NAT, and the VPN server is connected to the gateway through an Intel I211 Gigabit Network Connection (physical ethernet cable to the gateway). I am at the step of setting the Local Bridge. Should I be selecting the same network adapter (Intel I211), or an alternate (Intel I219-V)? The I219-V is not connected to anything so I assume it should NOT be used by the local bridge? Thank you for reading!

Use the Intel I211.
