Implememt support for yubikeys as a smart card authenticator

Post by whiggs » Wed Oct 20, 2021 5:43 am

Hello. I wanted to reach out and request that the developers add support for yubikeys (https://www.yubico.com/) as a smart card authenticator. I know that these keys are meet all of the requirements needed for smart card authentication. You can find the yubikey driver at the below url. Thanks.

Softether VPN Compatible Smart Card Compatibility List

Post by tough.customer » Sun Mar 17, 2024 4:31 am

Greetings,
I would like to configure my softether VPN server and clients to use smart card authentification.
Is there a list of approved smart card reader/writers and smart cards that will work in SoftEther?
Is there a how-to guide to installing them? from the forums, it appears that there is very little about
this topic. THere is some talk about copying DLL files to directories. Can someone explain this
little known feature?

Has anyone figured this out yet? It's been a few years now. -- Mike
