An Annoying problem with connecting to VPN servers. Error (Error Code 1): Connection to the server failed.

Whenever I try to connect to a VPN server (using VPN Gate Public VPN Relay servers) and connect to a server it doesn't let me connect, some let me connect, some don't.
Here's what appears
Error (Error Code 1):
Connection to the server failed. Check network connection and make sure that address and port number of destination server are correct.
I use UDP Protocol to Connect to servers not TCP protocol because TCP protocol keeps disconnecting me here's what appears when I choose TCP protocol:
Protocol error occurred. Error was returned from the destination server.
