hi there !
i´m just a beginner in linux an vpn-technology, but i managed to set up an ubuntu-server 18.04 with softether vpn-server.
everything is working fine but i always have to start the vpn-server manually when starting/restarting the ubuntu-server.
can someone tell me how i can manage to start the vpnserver automatically when the server is starting?
as i said before i am a beginner in ubuntu, so hoping for good advice and help.

Re: how to start vpn-server automatically / ubuntu 18.04
You need to make it a service that starts the executable at start
Look this tutorial, the section where it says "If you like SoftEther to start as a service on startup create a file named vpnserver in /etc/init.d directory and change it to the following:"
https://www.digitalocean.com/community/ ... -softether
