Post by kush » Wed Feb 20, 2019 11:14 pm

hello i have hosted a Softether VPN server, do i need to open 992 and 5555 TCP ports in my router? and if yes what are those ports used for? and if not can i delete them from my listeners list?
and also the VPN server Software isn't listening the IPsec/L2TP ports but i opened ports 500 and 4500 in my router and connected to the server using L2TP setting so idk should i add them listener?

If you do not use TCP 992 and 5555 for VPN connection, you do not need to open these ports.

What is 'idk'?

It's shorthand for 'I don't know'. :)
