SoftEther VPN Server certyficate

Hello,
I've created a SoftEther VPN Server on my Raspberry PI to gain remote access to remote devices. I saw that certificate of my server is going to expire on december 2020. My Raspberry PI will be far away from me in that time so my question is if I can make this certificate longer remotely or make it longer at start. Will I be able to connect to server after certificate expired or not? Will it be safe? Is there a instruction telling how to extend server certyficate?
