SoftEther VPN User Forum

I use this program:
SoftEther VPN Client Manager
I used it for two days
then
i saw my real ip and my real country
were included with other ip's
plus
more than 900 users were using it
i dont want anyone to use my ip
???????

i dont want to share my ip with others
how can avoid that ??

Disable VPN Gate Relay server.

i did this process
but still i can see my ip sometimes

1. Go to services.msc, stop the SoftEther VPN Client Service.
2. Go to "C:\Program Files\SoftEther VPN Client".
3. Open vpn_client.config with a user in the Administrators group.
4. In the declare root section, find "bool EnableVPNGateService true" and change it to "bool EnableVPNGateService false".
5. Go to services.msc, start the SoftEther VPN Client Service again.

i could not get step #3

Open it with Notepad or Wordpad.

Access is denied.

Copy it to the desktop first. Copy from the desktop to the original location after editing.

Change "bool DisableRelayServer false" to "bool DisableRelayServer true".

Firstly, refresh the server list. Then, try to do a telnet and see whether your computer is listening to those ports.

Also, check your configuration file again(vpn_client.config). Make sure you edit the file only when the VPN Client service is stopped in services.msc.

i dont want to use this program anymore
but first i want to be sure that i am unlisted!!

my ip will disappear automatically

after uninstallation
my ip will be removed from the list forever

People cannot connect to your IP even if it is still listed because there is no software listening to it. The relay server is in the vpn gate plug-in.
