what Difference between SecureNat & Local Bridge ?
is local bridge using lower cpu & ram than securenat?

Because these are completely different function.
Comparing the these load does not make much sense.
If you compare the load per traffic simply, SecureNAT has higher load.

Please refer the online manual to know detail.

but i can't find any reference manual for set up the local bridge on windows server
i know for enable it, must disable secureNat and install dhcp server but i don't know how to connect dhcp to softether and how enable nat for it

can you please help me for setting up this feature ?

If you want to make a Windows server as a NAT router, you don't need to use local-bridge and SecureNAT.
Simply, you install VPN client on the same host and connect it to the virtual hub and enable ICS.

If you want to construct more detailed network, you can configure NAT and DHCP which is embedded on Windows Server manually.

can my vpn users access to internet from server?

i found a link for set up local bridge on linux but can't find any manual for config it on windows :(
when i active it in softether and disable SecureNat, users can connect to server but they doesn't have any dhcp ip and access to internet !

Local bridge is equivalent to the cable connecting the LAN and Virtual HUB.
If there is DHCP service and internet access in the LAN, VPN client can use them.

sorry, i have a question

local bridge is better than SecureNat (in kernel mode) ??
and which one is faster ?

i config my dhcp server to this range: 1.1.1.1 to 1.254.254.254 - subnet: 255.0.0.0 and disable secureNat
turn on local bridge and all things was ok but the softether program crashed in the last night and my powerfull cpu (core i7 3.2 ghz) was over 60% !!


i disabled local bridge and enable securenat in kernel mode
with new dhcp range: 1.1.1.1 to 1.1.254.254 - subnet: 255.255.0.0 and restart softether service

and now every things is ok but i don't know the last night problem will happen again?

i don't know why this problem was happened :(

please help me

It depends on a case which of those are faster.

The cause of crash may be able to be investigated if there is record of crush dump or the event log.
