Bridge with one missing IP

Post by Ozhora » Wed Sep 28, 2022 2:35 pm

Hello,

Today I configured a VPN Server and Bridge for a specific access.
I need to access remotely to the IP adresse 172.18.0.2 (fixed by the "computer" delivering it)
It's not a problem to access the local network in 172.18.0.0/24 (DHCP from range 172.18.0.10-172.18.0.50 correctly allowed and used)

The problem in when connected in local I can ping 172.18.0.2 but not when connected through VPN
The only idea I got is that this specific interface does not have any MAC adress...

Any idea how to make it visible through VPN ?

It sounds like a SE server on Linux. Use a soft tap to work around the kernel limitation.
