Can only transfer UDP packets fo size <=1367 despite path MTU being 1500

I am using iperf to send UDP packets from one Softether client to another. Maximum size of UDP packet that can be transferred is coming out to be 1367 bytes when the path MTU is 1500. While I understand that VPNs do need to add their own headers to the data packets that can reduce the amount the application data that can be carried in each packet but more than 100 bytes in header of each packet seems overkill. Is there some configuration that can help achieve bigger data size, ofcourse limited by MTU and some headers?

I only know they reference mtu on this page: https://www.softether.org/1-features/4. ... U_Problems

I can't really help with that
