[Suggestion] Remove our e-mail from the e-mail mirrors

Post by ca3 » Sat Aug 29, 2015 2:27 am

Hi there,
I am a proud user of VPNGate and I help expand the mirror directory onto different, less censored, sites such as Tumblr (accessibly on school's network). However, I have issues regarding this process due to trolling user(s) are attacking my e-mail address.

Regarding an automated process, I would subscribe to the VPN Mirror's on my automatic posting Tumblr e-mail address- then, VPNGate's system would automatically e-mail me the data, and Tumblr would post it.

However, the slight issue; within the e-mail VPNGate sends, it includes my e-mail address used to posting content. I'd then have user(s) publishing unrelated troll content, such as signing up adult related content and publishing my e-mail address to spam databases.

Suggestion (1):
If possible, I would love for user(s) not to have his/her e-mail address included in the e-mail. If the person is checking his/her Hotmail account, he/she already knows his/her Hotmail address and thus it's useless information. Also, this would allow for easier automation for publishing such content and would remove trolling.

Suggestion (2):
If possible, you could add a different e-mail subscription system (have two), the second (newer) would include just the following:

"1. http://p92218-ipngn200401yosemiya.okina ... .jp:53624/
(Location: Japan)

2. http://bzq-165-54.dsl.bezeqint.net:41657/
(Location: Israel)

3. http://61.40.206.230:3699/
(Location: Korea Republic of)

4. http://111-255-234-153.dynamic.hinet.net:21859/
(Location: Taiwan)

5. http://122.155.168.38:58477/
(Location: Thailand)"

And exclude the e-mail address, and the cluttered footer. This would allow for automation on Tumblr, WordPress, Google Blogger, Facebook and many others via a third-party called IFTTT (https://ifttt.com).

Suggestion(ish) (2.2):
And possibly a third which would be limited to only a single mirror link, not including any extra information. This would be used for with a 140 character limitation (Twitter and Twitter-like sites). This suggestion may be obsolete, and would involve actual work- plus, Twitter is already blocked in China so it's kinda useless for international censorship. I could imagine this be useful with IRC or IM, such as having a python script relaying a single individual link (to prevent spam). This could also be useful for users posting automated blogs, however, in actuality, this would harm the SEO rating; nevertheless, still something to play with.
