VPN doesnt work.

I posted same in another forum yet no answer, trying this one.
Anyway, i used SoftEther VPN program and it gave me error 2 on most VPN's. Ones without it were not giving me IP.
i using windows 7 and L2TP internet connection.
At SoftEther site, the only VPNs that worked were MS-SSTP, and yet they are laggy.
I need help.
