Please locate "Message from owner" column right next to the "Country" column in the VPN server list window.
If a server owner registers CITY, COUNTY, STATE or PREFECTURE NAME in the "Message from owner" column, it can be displayed right next to the "COUNTRY".
It is helpful to select a suitable server to listen some internet radios which are limited by geographical area.
You don't have to register it if you don't want to show.

1) run the VPN Assistant application, and
2) click "Refresh list" button, and
3) select one or more than 2 server(s), and
4) right-click, and
5) select "Locate" in the right-click pop-up menu.

Dear Mrs. whoami,

Please make possible to collect servers which is listed in the following site.
http://www.vpngate.net/ja/

Current version of "VPN Assistant" collects servers listed in the following site.
http://www.vpngate.net/en/

I "GUESS" the above 2 server lists are slight different.

"VPN Assistant" and "VPN Gate client" currently shows different list.
So it's difficult to find the server you want.

Dear Tokushima,

"VPN Assistant" supports all languages of vpngate.net, including "http://www.vpngate.net/en/", "http://www.vpngate.net/ja/" and "http://www.vpngate.net/cn/". In fact, the server information within these three pages are almost the same except for some language difference.

If you want to collect server information from "http://www.vpngate.net/ja/", just add a new line "http://www.vpngate.net/ja/" to the file "proxy.list". You'll see the url in the "dropdownlist" left on the refresh button, select it then refresh.

Why "VPN Assistant" and "VPN Gate client plugin" currently shows different list?
The server list in "VPN Assistant" is the same with vpngate.net, it's only a part of all servers. whereas "VPN Gate client plugin" holds another part.

Here the steps to setup a VPN connection with "VPN Assistant".
1. Refresh list
2. Select one or more server(s), ping and locate. If the ping value is "-1", it means the server is unreachable.
3. Select a desired server that support SSL-VPN, export "SSL-VPN connection setting".
4. Open "SoftEther VPN Client Manager" and import the setting, then connect.

Good luck!

Dear whoami,

I have been able to listen to any domestic net-radio here in Japan.
I operated as follows:

1) forget about the server list comes with "VPN Gate client".
2) select a server you want comes with "VPN Assistant".
3) connect the above server by using "VPN Gate client".

I think that my request has been completed.
Thank you very much.

Dear whoami,

The following request is not so strong or urgent.

I hope that you make VPN ASSISTANT enable to collect the servers list as follows:

1) get the servers list every 10 minutes while VPN ASSISTANT is running.
2) sums all servers list in a local encoded DB.
3) removes servers which hasn't come up more than a hour.

I also hope that the VPN ASSISTANT can't be misused by Villain firewall owners.

4) can't output the servers list into any file.

It's OK if you need to limit "COUNTRY" to sum the servers list.
Because I only want to use VPN Assistant to listen some limited net radios.
I recognize that it's not a kind of serious matter compared with overseas disputes.

Thank you.
