It's not supposed to be that IP. Just check the main page of this website and see if it shows you as being from a different country - http://www.vpngate.net/en/

Well, try a VPN from other country than yours to see if the flag changes. Also, you can check if the IP changes

okay another weird problem

Only Japan server have this kind of prolem ... except those with 0.00Mbps

I did format my computer , reset my modem, reinstall the vpngate. others stuff. same thing happen

yeap. non-japan server only (excepts those with 0.00Mbps)

i also experience the same problem.
i have try
vpn-service.opengw.net
and
vg3023948478.opengw.net

and after connect, but show my own local ip address when i test it with mywanip

can anyone answer my question?

i also wants to built one at my office and share it out to everyone, as a compliment to this project.
can i do so?

i may not good at technical. i have also test it on my osx machine & my iphone.
it's work on my iphone but not work (show real wan ip on my desktop but show vpn server ip on my iphone )
when i try the same setting on my iphone and desktop.
I am very curious why this happening, can anyone technical enough to answer my question?

i finally make it work. i have to select

advance setting\options\Send all traffic over vpn connection

in order to make it work.

I see advence setting but where is
options\Send all traffic over vpn connection?

All traffic will be sent through the VPN by default if Default Gateway was set(in this case is assigned by the DHCP of the server).

I tried Japan servers and found that my IP really changed to Japan.
