Failure L2TP, Android and PC connection, rest works

After I upgraded to the latest version I cannot get my Ubuntu server to work with LT2P connections. It worked well before. I was able to connect from PC or phone using that protocol, using the windows or phone's VPN settings. A useful feature.

The server works well connection via the Softethervpn client

I have not changed firewell. All the correct boxes are ticked. Not sure what could have gone wrong. The windows upgrade on a windows server worked OK.
