I am using KODI on my Amazon Fire Stick TV device. Does anyone know if there is way to use SoftEther on this Android device?

My other question is about using this program directly on KODI?

Any inputs much appreciated.

Good starting point: On Firestick enable developer options.

Thank you for your prompt answer but I don't want to use someone service live vpnvanish or any others. I have working SofhEther setup in other country. I am able to use it within Windows, iPhone without any problems and works great.

I would like to find software I could side-load to my AFT stick and insert my credential and use it the same like I am doing with PC or iPhone.

I am guessing there is no way to use VPN without any additional application on Amazon Fire TV?

I only meant those links as a starting point not a complete solution.

Hello Koze,
I am not sure if you can modify AFT or Kodi directly to install softether, but you might consider another option:
try to make your PC a virtual router=enable on it hosted network (you can google for details how to accomplish this task), and direct your ATF or Kodi to connect to your PC's virtual router, while PC is connected through SE VPN to your remote SE VPN server. Your PC's virtual router should route ATF or Kodi traffic through VPN.
It means to connect to your PC's VR and change your ATF or Kodi gateways to the one given by PC virtual router hosted network, instead of your standard internet router gateway.
Another option to try is Internet Connection Sharing on your PC, while it is using VPN.
I hope this might help.
Good Luck

I was hoping to find simpler solution. Like app side load where I can put all my information's and use it if required.

It looks it will be not possible. :(

what exactly are you trying to do? I've accomplished turning a android phone into a softether server by running linux deploy and busy box, I installed softether server on the android phone to use the cellular connection as a remote VPN connection. I've never read of anyone else attempting what I accomplished, not saying it hasnt been done. If you wanted to do it the other way around, install softether client on the android phone to connect to a remote server I'm sure it would work. I set it all up by SSH into the android phone.

I also have vpn connection to another VPS running softether server, set up on my Raspberry Pi running OpenELEC (Kodi). I had to set it up using a OpenVPN client. I found the tutorial I used on seo-michael's website. Here is the link.

You have to get the OpenVPN config file from SoftEther Manager, download it onto a USB drive and insert the file into the addon.

I found this thread looking to see if anyone has attempted to run SoftEther Client along side OpenELEC on the underling Linux OS. I'm having a problem with DNS leaking using the OpenVPN client addon.
