Losing Settings after Power Cut

Hi,
Has anyone experienced settings to revert if there's been a powercut and the computer shuts down unexpectedly?
I'm using an Orange Pi Zero 512MB with Micro SSD (sandisk).
Config files keep their settings / data / etc but I've noticed that the Azure VPN changes to disabled and the Dynamic DNS loses the DNS entry I created, meaning I can't reuse the same DNS entry.
