Hello,
I am in search for some Router to use with SoftEther.
Atm I have a Linksys WRT54G, which is not capable of using IPsec/L2TP to connect as client. Didn't find a firmware which supports it.
I want to run a router after my ISP router, creating a new network. In this net, every connected device should surf over my SoftEtherVPN.
VPN is on a VPS outside.
So, please give me some hint about a Router which can do connect to SoftEther and share it in Net. Maybe some Linksys or TP-Link will do it?
Thanks,
JohnPain

Re: Which cheap Router for Softether client? IPsec/L2TP
I have SoftEther running on a NAS currently with L2TP/IPSec connections forwarded through my router (UDP 1701, 500, 4500). Might be an option for you instead of replacing your router. I have a ReadyNAS 102 which was relatively inexpensive, but I believe any *nix-based NAS would work. SoftEther compiles fine on an ARM processor.

Thanks for your Info.
But, I am now trying to get connection established over OpenVPN Client function over my router first.
Naturally got problems with it, so I opened a new topic regarding this ;-). We'll see how it goes.....
