listening Port closed for soulseek in win 7 x64

Post by 0l1v3r5um » Wed Apr 18, 2018 8:08 am

hi forum,
using soulseek requires to open a listening port, here+now it is 51160/tcp. i did open that in my avm fritzbox 7490 router. there is also Windows7FirewallControl which enables soulseek. without using SoftEther VPN, the port is open. using SoftEther VPN soulseek says it is closed.

i checked #3.3.6 Listener Ports in the SoftEther_VPN_Server_Manual, but it seems not applicable. i guess thats b/c i have no server...see i am noob.

what would i have to do in order to get that listening port open while using SoftEther VPN? thanx in advance for help.

You don't need to open the port because you use VPN client.

To open port requires changing the configuration of the router of the VPN server side.
Please ask VPN server administrator.
