DNS leak by using SE client?

Post by qazesz » Sat Mar 31, 2018 2:57 pm

Hello,

I have set up SE-vpn server on a VPS and enabled all VPN protrols that SE-vpn server supports. When connecting with the VPN client that build in Windows, no DNS leakage was observed. When connecting with the SE client, there is DNS leak reported. DNS leakage test using whoer.net.

OS is Windows 10 build 17133. The smart multi-homed name resolution has been turned off.

Currently the only work out is to manually set local DNS server as an invalid one, localhost for example, so that there will be only remote DNS server available.
Anybody have better solution for this?
Maybe I can expect SE resolve it in the future release.
