systemd and logfiles

Post by rithiv » Fri Jan 26, 2018 1:08 pm

Hi,

I've recently installed softether vpn on a centos 7 VM and enabled L2TP/ipsec and everything is working fine. However since this is a centos 7 machine with systemd I initially configured the service using the unitfile from github: https://github.com/SoftEtherVPN/SoftEth ... er.service

and again this mostly works, except for one thing; no logs are being written if I start the service with systemctl, if I follow the instructions and create a regular old init script, logfiles are being written.

While I can live that, it would be nice if logging works with the modern systemd service. Anyone know how to get that working?

Could you check the permission of the directory?
