Hi,
I've notice on the forum there is a way to install SoftEther VPN on Linux.
But the official page does not list any installation instructions.
I'm concerned that the installation instructions for Debian 9 (viewtopic.php?f=7&t=42236) might damage my Linux Mint 18.3 installation.
Does anyone have recommendations on how to install it on Mint?
I am using Dragon2Fly's command-line vpngate-with-proxy (https://github.com/Dragon2fly/vpngate-with-proxy), but I'm hoping for a more elegant solution with a better GUI.
Thank you for any help you can provide.

Don't mix up vpngate and SoftEther VPN....they are different projects. If you want to use vpngate (free proxy) you dont need the SoftEther VPN software.
Also the linux version does not include a GUI, just commandline tools.

Thank you for your reply!
For some reason, I thought SoftEther was built to work only with VPN Gate.
I reviewed the website explanations. Thank you! For now, I'll use the VPN-Gate-with-proxy project.
