Locking down permission control for a VPN user

Post by gnollo » Mon Dec 11, 2017 10:46 am

Hi everyone, I have been using the software to access my EMBY movie library when on the road. I do a VPN connect so I can start my Emby Theater client and play movies like I am on my own LAN. No other ports are open to the outside so unless VPN is used no-one can connect.
I was at a friend house and I created a VPN connection so I could watch movies there, but he pointed out to me that all my computers on the LAN are visible and files can be accessed by him now with that VPN login.
If I created a user login for him, how can I lock it down so he can only start that application (Emby Theater), and everything else will be locked down for him?
Thank you for your help!

Limiting by application is difficult.
Please try to limit by IP address with Access List function.
