SoftEther Docker Client for Linux?

Post by LonnieTC » Wed Oct 11, 2017 4:43 pm

Greetings All,

I have recently come across the Docker Hub releases of the SoftEther Server, Client, Bridge, and CMD

https://hub.docker.com/r/amary/softether-vpn-server/
https://hub.docker.com/r/amary/softether-vpn-client/
https://hub.docker.com/r/amary/softether-vpn-bridge/
https://hub.docker.com/r/amary/softether-vpn-cmd/

I can already start up the server container and connect to it via a Windows machine with the GUI.

Also, I read on the (above) client link how to start up the SoftEther Client for a Linux machine, but I am unclear as to what is needed, or how, to configure the client so that I can connect to the SoftEther Server.

I would like to be able to connect to the server and receive a static IP back for the client to use in the VPN so I would guess that this would be based upon the MAC address of the calling client, or something.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Lonnie
