Does split-tunneling makes sense?

Post by softy » Mon Oct 02, 2017 6:59 am

I run Softether on a RasPi. My main aim is unrestricted access in China, and so far it works fine.

My Softether is version 4.22 build 9634

Here is my question, would detection by the censors be more difficult if split-tunneling is used?

So, for example, when I get a website that is not restricted (example: bing.com) it's routed directly without VPN, but a google.com would route via VPN.

I wonder if that makes a difference, and if, is that already implemented by default or does it need to be setup? If so, how?
