Is certificate auth available with MS SSTP VPN Client?

Post by alko » Sun Jun 08, 2014 12:07 am

It is possible to authenticate with a certificate using SoftetherVPN client through SSTP connection.
Password-based MS CHAPv2 with MS SSTP VPN Client is also works perfect.

Can't configure certificate auth with MS SSTP VPN Client.
Is it possible to use certificate authentication with "Microsoft SSTP VPN client"?

Certificate user authentication on PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) on both MS-SSTP and L2TP/IPsec are currently NOT support yet. Any one either the core developer or open-source contributors has not written the program to support it.

SoftEther developers are considering to implement it in recent future. Please use password authentication until either us or some contributors will finish the development.
