What does "logging Policy' Mean?

Post by kwanyu » Mon Oct 20, 2014 11:53 am

Hey, guys.

I have a question related to 'Logging Policy"

when I open VPN Gate List, I can see a lot of VPN Server.

There is DDNS Host name, IP Address, Region and there is Logging Policy.

Every Servers's logging Policy is " 2 Weeks ".

Does it mean Every log just only save 2weeks in Server?

If I log in some monday, It will be delete After 2weeks?

Your answer will be appreciated.

Thank you.

Yes, it is the default policy to retain logs for 2 weeks. During that duration any connected clients has the information stored in logs. Each log is stored and labelled by date for up to 2 weeks. After 2 weeks the appropriate log files will be deleted automatically by the software unless the user intervenes or has intervened.
